“Once I got with Bill and his team, I was able to get on the right path to feeling healthy. They guided me every step of the way to make sure I was on track and were there to answer any questions I had.”

BPC-157 (Body Protective Compound) is a peptide consisting of 15 amino acids derived from gastric secretions.

The peptide can be taken orally and is quite stable in stomach acid compared to other peptides.

Studies show similar effectiveness of oral vs injectable BPC-157 with enhanced systemic absorption with the oral form. Oral BPC-157 was found to be superior to its injectable form regarding its ability to be neuroprotective due to high levels of serotonin in the gut.

It has a comprehensive list of benefits.

Animal studies have shown BPC-157 to be neuroprotective by restoring damaged cells in the brain from diseases such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, schizophrenia, and amphetamine-induced psychosis. Because of this, it shows promise in helping patients come off of amphetamine stimulants. Interestingly BPC-157 is shown to help depression by increasing both dopamine and serotonin in key areas of the brain.

It has been demonstrated to counteract the effects of alcohol intoxication and its aftereffects by acting as an alcohol antagonist. Similarly, BPC-157 was shown to counteract morphine-analgesia at a
comparable but slower rate than naloxone, which could assist with opioid addiction and recovery.

Finally, BPC-157 has the reputation of profound tissue healing, described as the wolverine peptide.

It has significant healing effects across all body systems including the brain, spinal cord, bones, joints, ligaments and tendons, muscles, and even our organs.

It does this by promoting angiogenesis, the production of new blood vessels. This enhances the repair process by bringing much-needed nutrients and oxygen to damaged cells.

Specifically regarding the repair of tendons, ligaments, and muscles damaged through exercise or injury, BPC-157 increases the expression of the growth hormone receptors on the surface of the cell; therefore increasing growth hormone naturally. The increased growth hormone at the cellular level organizes tissue repair in a more effective manner. This results in tendon and ligament repair, increased muscle mass, and overall enhanced tissue rejuvenation.
